Awesome, Joan
The two exercises I've posted are:
Chapter Two:

Chapter Three:

I'll be continuing to monitor this forum and post exercises here, but it seems that most people have adopted the mailing list as their preferred method of keeping in touch. Conversations there have begun to get quite interesting.

We've ceased worrying about keeping up or staying together, and it seems to be working well for everyone to take it at their own pace. Some people may be on Chapter 6, some on Chapter 2 and some haven't even bought the book yet. It doesn't matter.
If I'm on Chapter 4 and someone talks about Chapter 2, that's great because I need to review *everything* repeatedly in order to get it to stick. Likewise if someone starts to discuss a chapter I haven't reached yet, I may jump ahead a bit to see, or check the email in archives later when I'm ready for it.
The book is arranged in a way where jumping around in it works fine. It's not necessary to take it in sequence.
I may (or may not) create a second demo/exercise for Chapter 3; I'm kind of itching to get into Chapter 4.
It will be Really Really Cool if you create an exercise for any chapter you choose!!

I'm glad to see that things are still getting posted here where there is an archive. There has been a lot of mail in the CSS Study Group list that would been good to have archived, but it's great that the exercises are getting saved at least.
I suggest trying the Gilder/Levin method described on page 65 and then enlarging the text using Ctrl + (Command +) or however you do it in your setup and see what happens. _________________ Web Teacher: http://www.webteacher.ws/

You made the hidden text really small to begin with! What a great idea! Especially if you are replacing the text in a heading, if you leave it at the default size it outgrows the covering image fast. _________________ Web Teacher: http://www.webteacher.ws/

There is an archive for the CSS email group. Gail posted it in her message before yours:

Nice and neat, sorted by thread, date, author, or subject. You can even download a zip file.
